After the business our Friend Rosie Carnall will tell us about the revision of our Book of Discipline (Quaker Faith and Practice). Rosie is part of the committee tasked with the revision process, which has recently circulated two draft texts. She'll explain how we can get involved with reading and responding to the drafts, which are also available in audio formats. You can access the texts and audio versions here: www.quaker.org.uk/rqfp

Sunday 12th March

From 11.15 to 3.30, face-to-face and online, Sheffield Quaker Meeting House, 10 St James St S1 2EW and on Zoom. Everyone is welcome, including anyone who hasn’t been to an Area Meeting before.

The business meeting will start at 11.15,  i.e. before the end of the usual Meeting for Worship. We break for coffee and lunch at 12.15.  The Children’s session will be extended so that parents can remain in the Meeting for the first agenda item if they choose to.

In the afternoon Rosie Carnall will lead a session looking at two draft texts for our Book of Discipline (currently called Quaker Faith and Practice). Please try to read the drafts in advance and bring a copy. These can be found together with audio versions at www.quaker.org.uk/rqfp .

Please bring vegetarian (ideally plant based) food to share. The meeting will resume at 1.15 and finish by 3.30 with tea and cake.
