We expect to have 6 Area Meetings during 2026, following a similar pattern to recent years. More details will be added here, as time progresses.
Sunday January 18th, Nether Edge, 13.15 to 15.45. The meeting was face-to-face at Shirley House, Nether Edge, 31 Psalter Lane, Sheffield, S11 8YL.
Sunday March 8th, Sheffield Central, 13:30 to 15:30 The meeting is face-to-face and on zoom and will be at Sheffield Central Meeting House, 10 St.James Street, Sheffield, S1 2EW. This will also be a chance to catch up with Friends in the Area Meeting over a shared lunch from 12.15. Everyone is welcome, including anyone who hasn’t been to an Area Meeting before.
Friends at Sheffield Central will provide basic food such as curry/stew, baked potatoes/bread. But fruit, salad, cake or other simple additions will be welcome.
The draft agenda is below, with items in bold that we hope to take on draft minute. Papers and draft minutes will be sent out nearer the date. We will also send out a zoom link. If you are thinking about joining online please note that there have been problems with the wi-fi at the Meeting House recently and Friends speaking on zoom haven’t been heard in the meeting room.
